Antisocial behaviour is behaving in a way that is causing or is likely to result in alarm or distress. It can include a sequence of activities that has these results and may include actions which are meant to cause intimidation. It cannot be a single isolated incident. It can include actions by visitors, not just the flat occupants themselves. It must affect another person in another household.

Antisocial behaviour can include:

• excessive noise
• rubbish dumping and animal nuisance
• vandalism, property damage and graffiti
• rowdy behaviour such as shouting, swearing, and fighting
• harassment
• intimidating behaviour – threats, verbal abuse or actual violence
• criminal behaviour such as drug dealing
