On Wednesday 18th June, Under One Roof and Changeworks’ EcoCosi service held a joint webinar on how to install solar panels on blocks of flats, including tenements.
Installing solar panels can be an effective way of decarbonising your home’s energy source, contributing to the fight against climate change and potentially saving you money. However, the process of installing the panels and sharing the benefits can be challenging in a building with multiple owners. At various stages of the process, you will need to make decisions with your fellow owners, obtain access and permissions, work with your factor, and figure out how to arrange and pay for the work together.
