At Under One Roof, we recognise the importance and value of owners’ associations in maintaining and managing Scotland’s tenements.
Through our work with tenement owners, we have found that being part of an owners’ association helps owners to keep on top of building maintenance, organise repairs more quickly, and feel happier in their buildings.
That is why we encourage tenement owners to set them up and join them, and advocate in the Scottish Parliament for them to become mandatory.
We want to do more to support and encourage owners’ associations, and the first step of that process is creating a first-of-its-kind database of owners’ associations across Scotland.
By finding out where these associations are, how they are run, and what they need from us, we can tailor the information and support we offer. This database will also help us share examples and data with politicians and the wider public, so we can better make the case for why flat owners need more support.
Most importantly, Under One Roof won’t pass your personal details on to anyone without your explicit consent, and you can withdraw from our database by contacting us at info@underoneroof.scot.
If you are a member of an owners’ association, fill in our short survey below to join our database! Get early access to our downloadable resources and new publications before anyone else, updates on financial support and legislative changes, and share your experiences, both positive and negative, with us.
