Forth Road Bridge tour

Tour one of the world’s most significant long-span suspension bridges by mini-bus.

Take a look inside one of the main cable anchorage chambers 

The Forth Road Bridge is one of the world’s most significant long span suspension bridges. With a span of 1006 metres between the two main towers, it was the fourth longest in the world and the longest outside the United States when it opened. In total, the structure is over 2.5 km long.

The Doors Open Days tour will feature guided tours of the Forth Road Bridge by minibus, visiting points of interest along the deck and inside one of the main cable anchorage chambers.

The exhibition in the Contact and Education Centre will be open to the public all day – no booking is required.
