St Michael and All Saints Church is a Grade A-listed building designed by the Edinburgh architect Sir Robert Rowand Anderson and built in 1867.
It features fine altar pieces by William Burges (1867) and C E Kemp (1889)., and excellent stained glass by William Wailes, Clayton Bell & Ninian Comper.
Of particular note in this year of Global Connections is the 16th/17th -century Spanish pulpit with carved allegorical figures (Hope, Justice, etc) at the corners.
