DESCRIPTION:Working together with your neighbours to take care of your building can be challenging. It can be tricky to stay in regular contact, make decisions fairly and pay for repairs collectively.\nBeing part of an owners’ association can make the process much easier. That is why the Scottish Law Commission, and the Scottish Parliament Tenement Maintenance Working Group, have recommended that the Scottish Government introduce mandatory owners’ associations in every tenement building in Scotland.\nAt this free lunchtime webinar, we will be exploring the benefits of joining an owners’ association, sharing our expertise on how to set one up in your own building, and explaining the proposed changes to the law.\nOur presentation will be followed by a Q&A session, where you will have the chance to ask our expert speaker your own questions about owners’ associations.\nClick here to register via Microsoft Teams, and join us on Thursday 2nd July from 12-1pm.\n
